Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Account details you provide (name, email, birthdate, gender preferences, bio, job title, photos).
• Location when you allow GPS, so we can show nearby members.
• Activity on the app (likes, passes, matches, and messages you send).
• Sign-in data if you use Google / Firebase authentication.

2. How we use your information

• Create and maintain your NuvoMatch profile.
• Show you potential matches and power Discover swipes.
• Deliver live chat between you and people you connect with.
• Keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

We do not sell your personal information to advertisers or data brokers.

3. Who can message you

You choose who can contact you in your profile settings:

• Private (default) — only people you match with can message you.
• Public — other NuvoMatch members can message you directly without a match.

You can change this anytime under Profile → Who can message you.

4. Who can see your profile

Shared profile fields (name, photos, bio, location, job title) are visible to members you interact with on Discover, people you like or match with, and—if you set messaging to Public—members who can message you. Your email and password are never shown to other users.

5. Messages (end-to-end encrypted)

Chat messages are end-to-end encrypted on your device before they are sent. Only you and the other person in the conversation can decrypt them to readable text. NuvoMatch’s servers store ciphertext and cannot read your message contents. Your private decryption key stays on your device and is never uploaded.

6. Security

Passwords are stored hashed. Sessions use secure tokens. Google sign-in is handled through Firebase so we never see your Google password. No security system is perfect—please use a strong password and keep your account private.

7. Your choices

• Edit or clear profile fields anytime.
• Switch messaging privacy between Private and Public.
• Revoke location permission in your browser or device settings.
• Log out from Profile. To delete your account, contact support and we will remove your data where required by law.

8. Children

NuvoMatch is for adults. You must be at least 18 to create an account. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
